About Void Arena

Australia's most trusted voice in gaming since 2018

Void Arena Team

Our Story

Void Arena was founded in Sydney, New South Wales in 2018 by a group of five passionate gamers who were frustrated by the lack of honest, Australian-focused game coverage. Too many reviews were written by overseas journalists who had no understanding of local server conditions, community preferences, or the unique gaming culture that thrives across Australia.

We started as a small blog operating out of a shared office in Surry Hills. Within two years, we had grown into one of Australia's most-read gaming publications, covering everything from AAA blockbusters to hidden indie gems discovered at PAX Australia.

Today, Void Arena is home to a team of 12 full-time writers, reviewers, and esports analysts, supported by a network of community contributors across every state and territory. Our editorial independence is non-negotiable โ€” we do not accept paid reviews, sponsored scores, or publisher pressure of any kind.
